spinster
Just curious. I was just looking on the web for the word spinster. Do they still use this term for unmarried virgin women? And if they do, how old does someone have to be in order to be called one?

you can still use it, though its not really used in modern times, I would have to say that I spinster's age would now be about 50 or something. though is the olden days a spinster was clasified as a 25 and on(in the 17th-18th century)
